Over ten years of development experience has come together to produce some of the highest quality, award winning educational software tools now in daily use in over 50 per cent of all UK primary schools.
Major developments since the early days have led to the addition of many more products in the Softease range, all designed with the same ease of use philosophy and an understanding of educational requirements in our rapidly changing technological age.
July 2005 saw the launch of Textease Studio CT – the Ultimate in Classroom Tools. This development with NINE core ICT tools includes Textease Draw CT (Educational Resource Awards 2006 finalist), Textease Movies CT and Textease Database CT (a revolutionary multi-user database). Schools are also seeing the benefits of the new Community @ Home licence, which enables them to license all their pupils and teachers to use the same software at home.
Softease’s latest podcasting tool Podium, launched in January 2007, signals exciting times ahead for the company as it strives to push back the boundaries of introducing new technologies for the entire curriculum. The PC-based application, suitable for all ages, allows users to create, edit and publish podcasts all from the same simple interface.
Other products in the Softease range include: Textease Timeline, Textease Ideas Map and Teddy Bear Tools designed for early years users.
The success of Softease is based on its commitment to meeting the needs of its customers with investment in research and development to ensure the company is always at the leading edge of technological innovation.
Softease appreciates the work Naace does to support and develop the use of ICT within UK schools and is proud to be able to support the association in its valuable work.
